Our priority is keeping our arena ground in excellent condition. Maintained everyday to ensure that we provide a safe & high quaility professional venue for everyone.
Andre' designed our indoor arena to duplicate the Will Rogers Colesium in Worth Fort, Texas. Perfect for exposing futurity colts who are getting ready for the NCHA futurity each year. We offer a double alleyway, 125 ft. outdoor sand warmup pen adjacent to the arena and long exit alleyway.
Sally Harrison, Columnist for the Fort Worth Business Press in an article she wrote April 9-15, 2007, regarding arena surfaces and maintances interviewed Bob Kiser of DragMaster. An expert entreprenuer on the science of arena surfaces who has been maintaining the NCHA's surfaces for the past eight years. and responsible for preparing the Will Rogers for the three major NCHA events. "Experts in the field of horse injuries tell us that 80 percent of injuries are related to improper footing" Kiser noted. "With all the rules and regulations that these associations have in place, there are no specifications for the ground and that is one of the most important factors."
We are serious about our ground here at Zaal Ranch, the safety and well being of both human and equine athletes is our number one priority.
